My Favorite Green Bean Recipe

Let's talk food!

I found a really quick and easy recipe that has become one of my favorites!
I can't help but nibble on them right out of the pan ..
and I even make extra to take to work the next day for lunch.

As a bonus...its healthy!

What you need:
Fresh Green Beans:  General rule is 2-4 oz per person.
Fresh Rosemary: A good size sprig should work.
Olive Oil & Sea Salt.

Start with your fresh green beans.

Wash and trim your beans and add them to a pan of boiling water.
Takes about 4 minutes to 'blanch' them.
Next, you will drain your beans.
Now drizzle on a bit of Olive Oil (just enough to coat them a bit)...

Use your kitchen shears to trim the leaves of your fresh rosemary right into the pan...

Now sprinkle on a bit of Sea Salt....

Sea Salt??
For the cook's purposes, the main difference between salts is in their texture. Table salt's fine granules dissolve quickly, making it the preferred salt of bakers. Sea salt and kosher salt possess larger, irregular grains that add a delightful crunch and hit of briny flavor when sprinkled on food at the last minute. Generally, savvy cooks prefer kosher salt when cooking, since its coarse texture is easier to take a pinch of when seasoning savory dishes.

Now enjoy!
The original recipe was with small red potatoes....you can add them and they make a nice combo!
But I'm addicted to the green beans!
